The International Rafting Federation (IRF) issues the certification for rafting service providers to providers of guided rafting and rafting training services. The system aims to identify service providers who meet or surpass internationally recognized safety, environmental, and quality requirements. The procedure includes a time of self-assessment in accordance with published standards, an expert review by an expert committee, and a field visit by a qualified evaluator.
