Under the title “Adventure Tourism Cluster Plan”, USAID Turizam evaluated and proposed a strategy for developing adventure tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina in collaboration with Slovenia’s Good Place Agency.
We encourage all adventure tourism enthusiasts, whether they are public or private sector representatives, non-governmental organizations, or sports clubs, to utilize this document to create policies that will lead to the development and promotion of BiH as the most exciting adventure tourism destination.
More than two hundred adventure tourism representatives from the corporate and public sectors engaged in a series of meetings, focus groups, and surveys intended to determine the key challenges and opportunities for the development of adventure tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This document is a direct support to the planning and implementation of adventure tourism activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and its key messages are geared toward the creation of platforms on the international market that will successfully integrate the country’s tourist experiences and products. Establishing a long-term framework for international training, licensing, and certification, as well as improving the safety, quality, and sustainability of adventure tourism, is essential.
