Bosnia and Herzegovina won first place in this year’s Pop Awards for the most popular collection of courses on the Online Travel Training (OTT) platform, a renowned international tourism platform.
In July 2021, USAID Turizam and OTAA initiated courses with the goal of reaching, informing, and educating thousands of foreign tour operators and travel agencies in important outbound markets across the world about Bosnia and Herzegovina’s outstanding, rich, and diverse tourism offer.
OTT’s CEO, Julia Feuell, commented on the event, “We were truly impressed by Bosnia and Herzegovina’s efforts in 2021 to present itself to the tourism and travel sector. Bosnia and Herzegovina rated second in the popular collection of OTT courses for 2021, according to OTT. It is encouraging to see that Bosnia and Herzegovina i s becoming a more popular tourist destination in the post-pandemic period. OTT is excited to work with this hardworking tourism organization to launch its marketing initiatives in the UK and the US in the future year.”
Following this achievement, Bosnia and Herzegovina has expanded its reach among agents and received first place for the most popular courses on the largest international tourist platform this year. Over 600 agents have already completed these courses!
With a global network of about 62,000 tourism specialists, OTT is regarded as one of the top companies delivering this type of specialized training and education to tourism professionals. International travel agents who complete the OTT courses will be able to effectively market and sell travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina to their clients, resulting in more arrivals, higher spending, and longer stays.
