Expedia Partnership to Increase Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Visibility in the International Marketplace
March 8, 2023, Berlin – In the framework of ITB Berlin, the world’s largest tourism fair, USAID’s Developing Sustainable Tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Turizam) and Expedia Group Media Solutions, a global travel advertising platform is announcing the beginning of a collaboration aimed at increasing the inventory and visibility of BiH products and experiences on the expedia.com platform.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a great destination for travelers from all over the world due to its natural, cultural, and historic tourism assets, as well as its mild climate and high value for money. In the years preceding up to 2019, demand for visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina has increased rapidly. Nevertheless, this upward tendency was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, although figures for 2021 and 2022 indicate a significant recovery that can be bolstered further through promotional and sales activities.
