Herzegovina Wine Route Festival
To promote the rich wine culture and tourism offerings of Herzegovina, the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FTC BiH) organized the Herzegovina Wine Route Festival in Mostar. The aim of this unique event was to highlight the significance and potential of wine tourism in the Herzegovina region, known for its quality wines and beautiful vineyards.
The festival brought together more than 20 exhibitors, including hotels, tour operators, restaurants, and wineries from Mostar, Čapljina, Čitluk, Ljubuški, Trebinje, and Stolac. This diverse lineup of exhibitors allowed visitors to enjoy a rich spectrum of wine experiences and familiarize themselves with the entire region’s tourist offerings. Educational workshops were held during the festival, covering topics from viticulture and winemaking to marketing and tourism. Thus, the festival’s special focus was not only on wine but also on the rich cultural and historical heritage. All of this was presented in a fully commercial and entertaining event style.
With over a thousand visitors and a great atmosphere, the festival was a true refreshment for wine, gastronomy, and culture lovers. Visitors had the opportunity to taste some of Herzegovina’s best wines and participate in various entertaining activities and cultural programs.
This initiative to promote the Herzegovina Wine Route is expected to flourish in the coming years as an exceptional tourist attraction for the entire Herzegovina region.

The festival was organized with the support of the Government of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Environmental Protection of HNK, the HNK Tourist Board, the City of Mostar Tourist Board, the City of Mostar, and the USAID Turizam project. This support enabled the festival to be realized at a high level, with a rich program and numerous activities that enriched the visitors’ experience.
