Guide for Safe Food Handling in Hospitality and Adventure Tourism

USAID Turizam and the BiH Food Safety Agency (BiH FSA) have officially presented yesterday in Sarajevo the Guide for Safe Food Handling in Hospitality and Adventure Tourism, ensuring adequate health and safety standards for BiH citizens and travelers in the country. The Guide and courses aim to serve as a reminder and provide guidelines for hospitality and catering businesses, ensuring their awareness of and adherence to food safety and hygiene requirements.

Based on the Guide, USAID has developed a series of online courses on the Turizam Academy, a custom-made online learning platform for the tourism industry.

The Guide and courses were presented by Karl Wurster, USAID/BiH Economic Development Office Director, Džemil Hajrić, FSA Director and Nedžad Biberović, MBA Centar Sarajevo Marketing Manager/Restaurant Slatko i Slano.
