The Resilience and Innovation Summit will be a platform for developing new opportunities and networking local actors with world leaders from the USA, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and other parts of the world. Representatives from significant international brands such as Turkish Airlines, Mastercard, Gadventures, Travelzoo, Oxford Economics, and many others will share their experiences and best practices with local and international participants, officials, and the media. “This is an extraordinary opportunity for professional networking – we invite all interested parties from the entire region, including those in the tourism sector, IT entrepreneurs, and investors,” added Laurie Myers, Director of Global Strategy for the Resilience Council.
“It is a great pleasure to announce this key event for the regional tourism sector. By bringing representatives of the most important global companies in the travel and tourism sector to Bosnia and Herzegovina, we enable direct knowledge transfer and progress of the local sector, but also introduce the world to our country’s unique offerings. In this way, we significantly contribute to our goal of supporting the private sector in achieving growth in the tourism sector and the international positioning of Bosnia and Herzegovina as one of the most attractive and dynamic tourist destinations,” said Feđa Begović, USAID Turizam Chief of Party.
The summit’s program is dedicated to topics of resilience, sustainability and innovations in tourism and travel sectors across Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the key contents is the presentations of startups from regional IT companies that will compete for the title of Southeast Europe’s Startup of the Year.
