Do you have a business idea in tourism? Are you the owner of an investment project and looking for a strategic partner? Do you want to make your investment project more visible among investors?
As part of this year’s Sarajevo Business Forum, the USAID Turizam project in cooperation with the FBiH Chamber of Commerce is organizing an investment conference where the most successful investment projects in tourism from Bosnia and Herzegovina will be presented and promoted. Project owners will have the opportunity to meet potential domestic or foreign investors.
We invite you to nominate the best investment projects in tourism from your region/canton/city/municipality, which meet the following criteria:
- Projects are ready for implementation, if an investor is found.
- Projects have the necessary documentation, including resolved property-legal issues, are part of spatial planning documentation, have the necessary permits, etc.
- Projects are of significant importance for the development of tourism in your canton/city/municipality, and can be owned by the public or private sector.
USAID Turizam will enable participation for the 10 best investment projects in tourism from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Sarajevo Business Forum, providing presentations, promotions, and connections with a significant number of domestic and foreign investors. The best projects will also be promoted through the Online Investment Directory on the project’s website.

About the Sarajevo Business Forum and Investment Conference
Following the continuation of successful business cooperation from previous years, the USAID Turizam project is an important partner of this year’s Sarajevo Business Foruma. This year’s forum will be held on May 22 and 23 in Sarajevo, offering participants a unique opportunity for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and business opportunities. During this edition of the Sarajevo Business Forum, participants can expect inspiring discussions, new partnerships, and encouraging ideas that will contribute to further business development in the region.
USAID Turizam and the FBiH Chamber of Commerce will invite and ensure the participation of interested domestic investors at the investment conference, where project owners will have the opportunity to present their projects and connect with potential investors. An expert evaluation team will analyze the submitted investment projects, request additional information and documentation, and conduct field visits if necessary.

Investments in the tourism sector and related activities will accelerate the economic growth of Bosnia and Herzegovina and enhance its international competitiveness. The tourism value chain is connected with various industries such as environmental conservation, food and hygiene product supply, communications, transport, construction, and furniture. All these sectors depend to some extent on tourism, and their growth is conditioned by the success of the tourism sector.
