To help the country return to pre pandemic arrival levels and position it on path for sustained growth, USAID Turizam engaged with the country’s four leading tourism boards in developing their Digital Transformation and Social Media Marketing plans that set the path for them to strategically utilize digital and social media as part of their marketing and promotional efforts. Support was also provided to smaller city-based tourism boards that included providing direct training and capacity building introducing best practices in designing and launching digital campaigns, optimizing powers of social media influencers, capitalizing in 3rd party platforms as well introducing solutions and tools for more effective and efficient digital and social media management.
