USAID Turizam conducted a study of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), forecasting a growth in employment and hospitality in the future. Furthermore, data indicates that demand for qualified personnel may outnumber supply, unless the number of graduates from technical schools improves (TVET).
TVET models that are based on collaborations in the tourism and hospitality sectors are the most efficient. As a result of this analysis, it is recommended that tourism education and training should be based on the concept of enhanced coordination with industry partners and accountable structures.
